The fire rating of hotel doors is usually graded according to fire resistance performance. The specific rating varies according to the fire protection standards of the region and country, but it is generally divided into the following categories:

Class A (or Class A):

Fire resistance time limit: generally more than 1.5 hours (90 minutes).
Applicable location: mostly used in places such as elevators and stairwells that require higher fire protection requirements to ensure safe evacuation in emergency situations.
Class B (or Class B):

Fire resistance time limit: generally about 1 hour (60 minutes).
Applicable location: commonly used for floor isolation doors, corridors or suite doors. For hotel room doors, it is usually required to be Class B and above to control the spread of fire and smoke.
Class C (or Class C):

Fire resistance time limit: generally 0.5 hours (30 minutes).
Applicable location: generally used for doors in some auxiliary areas or non-critical fire protection areas, such as some corridor connection doors or service area doors.
The choice of fire rating for hotel doors mainly depends on the fire protection requirements of the area and the design standards of the hotel. Guest room doors are generally of Class B or above, which can prevent smoke from spreading in the event of a fire and protect the safety of the evacuation passage. In addition to fireproof performance, these doors also consider sound insulation, anti-theft and other functions to improve the comfort and safety of guests.
